Wyrmlords Kharn and Ulwai from the D&D adventure Red Hand of Doom. Lucio Parillo's art of Kharn ([link]) was awesome, but somehow it made him look like he was a half-dragon himself (which he is not). I also wanted to draw a hobgoblin with dreadlocks. Also, there's the confusing discrepancy between the narrative description and his stats! Is he really supposed to wield a pick or a greatsword? (I prefer the greatsword.)

As for Franz Vohwinkel's Ulwai ([link]), I found her too...old. The Tina Turner hair doesn't help much, either. My version is probably going to be wearing more black leather. (Yes, I know she smacks enough of BDSM with that whip.)
